6 Essential Oils to help Sinus Congestion

There are several ways to use essential oils to treat sinus pressure or inflammation. They can be used in a diffuser or humidifier, as an additive to a warm bath or shower or by topical application.
Aroma diffusers are an easy option. Just add several drops of oil to water in the diffuser and breathe deeply while sitting near the diffuser or have it near your bed while you sleep.
Take a long hot shower and place a few drops of oil onto the bottom of the shower and breathe in the steam.
To apply directly to the skin mix a few drops of essential oil with a carrier oil. Apply a small amount of this mixture to your chest, behind the ears or back of the neck. Always use a patch test on a small area of skin first to avoid irritation or adverse reactions.
